How do you know when you are ordering which thermometer is going to work for you?
That is a tough question!
I have tried three different temporal thermometers, and will give you my honest opinions of each. Two are able to check their ears, one is only temporal.

The first is by Braun and is able to give temporal only.
This was my first electronic thermometer and I Loved it! It glides so smoothly along the forehead and is pretty accurate (I always bring our thermometers to appointments so we can compare) I watched a review and decided this was the one! It is easy to hold and fits all of ours hands.
I have been using this particular for over 2 years and am just now noticing the darker blue coloration coming off which I feel is causing it to drag across the forehead.
Do I think this particular Braun thermometer was worth the money spent? Absolutely! We don't try; but we are Very rough on our things and this was used constantly.

Second is the Happy Care by Enji.
They both weight 97 Grams but this one feels heavier. This feels balanced in your hand, but it doesn't fit my hand. It seems to be a good reader when I use it on my son, but it has a difficult time with my daughters skull. the cap comes off nice to use the ear portion. It also includes a really nice blue placement pointer (it is really so the thermometer knows when to read ear or forehead, but it is in the middle and works so well as a pointer!). There are two button options: Start and Memory.
Do I think this particular Enji thermometer is worth the money? Yes and no. If both my kids were able to use this one - then absolutely yes. Since it is really only good for one of my kids and it is not the one I grab for I would not replace this one.
I appreciate the opportunity to test this thermometer!

The last thermometer that I will be talking about it the Proven dual thermometer.
I will be frank and say that I did Not like this one at all when I first start using it. Then I discovered the user error and it has quickly become the one I grab. You don't slide this along the forehead as you do with the others I have talked about. This one you almost tap the three points to get the temp which is what seems to make it the perfect one for our household. It has two buttons - one for head and one for ear. I don't believe it has a memory on it, but that's not a deal breaker for us. If I need to keep record, I write it in her calendar. The cap pops off and on really nice and it fits in the palm of our families hand. It comes in at 89 grams.
Do I think this Proven Thermometer is worth the money spent? Absolutely Yes! I would definitely purchase this one for myself or others!
I have been asked to give my honest opinion of these products listed. I will include a link to each thermometer so you may read what others have to say about them also. Just click the link and it will take you to that thermometer.
