Throughout this site, you will start to see a lot of repeat places.
I have worked hard to find the best prices on items – especially if I re-order them. I want to be able to save myself time, money, and energy so if I can find a trusted location that will deliver when I want or need it by and they have an awesome price they will start to become my go to place.
I will however order from 15 different places if it will get me the best deal, because as we know – it gets really expensive to have all the things that make our lives a little bit easier and lets face it, if we can achieve a want and a need at the same time we are twice as happy.
That being said, this page will be dedicated to some of the places that I shop. Some will have discounts attached to them, some will be “exclusives” meaning to get the deals; you have to sign up with the site, others you will have to pay for a membership to get the deals. Please keep in mind, that I will try to state if I get the membership or not – but the final decision will be yours and if it fits into your budget or lifestyle. I’m only looking to put my information out there and into one place
Have fun looking around!
Amazon:
Amazon has really become my go to place when I am looking for something. I can find a ton of different things from a ton of different vendors & with the prime account I can order small quantities as they fit into my budget while keeping track of the things I want/need to order. (a side cool thing! I can watch movies and listen to music because it is part of the yearly dues!)
Target
Target is another of my go to sites.
If you are just starting out shopping online with Target, you will want to get their Redcard. This will save you 5% and you get free shipping on qualifying orders (It has recently changed)
If you are like me and get Tons of prescriptions (or if you just get a few it is still worth it) I have the pharmacy rewards cards. This gives me a cash discount code once I have filled a certain number of prescriptions. (Note: You no longer receive gift cards, now it is a voucher which Does expire). Since CVS has taken over the MN locations; you no longer need to keep your pharmacy rewards card with you.
I’m guessing that by now, you are thinking I do a lot of online shopping and you are completely CORRECT!! I try to stay out of the stores because I over spend EVERY-TIME I go (I have a soft spot for my kiddos and hubby and just love spoiling them).
To help get a little cash back I am also apart of some cool cash programs. You can earn cash back (similar to using your points credit card – which I also do). The program that I use the most is ebates and following is a link to take you there. I don't have a cool looking link but a lot of times you get a bonus for using someones referral link. So I have placed mine below.
If you like points that you can turn into cash cards or statement credits you are also in my same category I use my credit card that offers points for all my online purchase (except target – remember the redcard gives 5% off and free shipping, so that usually trumps the point value). I just make sure that I don’t carry a balance on the card and then I can use the points to purchase birthday and Christmas gifts To make sure I don’t forget about a purchase I made, I transfer the money directly to my credit card Immediately after I make the purchase.
I also use surveys, click through sites, and others to get a little cash here and there. They are by no means huge money makers, but they help with the little stuff.
On top of the above items, I am also a direct sales rep for a couple of companies. I will get into both of these sections later
